StarFarm is an online music app for streamers and artists. It is a high-quality, easy-accessible, and efficient music app for web and mobile users. StarFarm is a place to enjoy, discover and support artists. Full-on transaction transparency and immutability make StarFarm a great place for music steamers & artists to upload music!
The foremost goal was to re-develop the StarFarm app for the users and artists. The second requirement was to make the app function with each button, and the implemented element, including payment, notification, metrics, etc. Also, enhance the user experience in terms to look & feel and easy accessibility.
Being frequently uncontrollable and having a loose music player, it is annoying when online music streaming app becomes stuck playing the same song repeatedly. Also, there are multiple issues related to the music player, such as:- the play button not functioning properly, the mute button not working after keeping the songs on mute, and an inconsistent volume setup.
Having an option for buffering the music track is excellent in an online music app, but it feels like the most irritating feature when the favorite song stops right in between while enjoying. Apart from that, there were some glitches & stalls in the seek bar.
Payment glitches make users cancel the payment on the portal many times and begin the process from scratch. We identified various payment glitches like- money not deducted from a/c when playing a song and does not support displaying the earlier transactions.
The client added notification issues to help screen any new album, trending music, or album of the month.
It must be easy for the client to check and evaluate the history of the app, its statistics, or payments made by them. The admin panel must take care of issues raised by users. It should have the functionality to view user-related data and an option for user feedback.
We revamped the music player from the buttons to seek bar. Now it allows users to stream their favorite music smoothly without any stalls and glitches, even at low Internet speeds.
Within the admin panel, we have implemented changes that benefit the admin. We have added the automated payment gateway, real-time notifications, simplified dashboard, and metrics for StarFarm like streamer's data, total revenue, total artists/streamers, and more.
Within the StarFarm project, our developers, added the notification setup for the admin. Whenever any new music album is uploaded, a notification will pop up on the admin end, and after approving the album, each user gets a notification of added album. And also it helps to notify the monthly trending album and songs.
As an idea project, it cost us less to complete this plan; nonetheless, the steps, duration and the tools in this project are broken down below.
